Lunch lecture Bioinformatics

Have you ever wondered how enormous amounts of -omics data are analysed and interpreted? During this lunch lecture, Dr. Aalt-Jan van Dijk will talk to us about his experience within the field of bioinformatics. After working at the WUR, he now works at the Swammerdam Institute for Life Sciences in Amsterdam, as Professor Data Analysis. In-depth, he will share with us how bioinformatics data can be analyzed using machine learning, to find answers to biological questions regarding protein structure and interactions.
