Elk jaar is er een Moleculair Weekend gedurende het weekend in de eerste periode. Hier kunnen de eerstejaars kennis maken met de vereniging, haar leden en haar commissies. Het thema van het Moleculair Weekend wordt traditioneel bekend gemaakt tijdens de AID-studiedag. Het weekend wordt georganiseerd door de WeekendCie. De WeekendCie wordt doorgaans in de tweede periode gewisseld voor een nieuwe lichting enthousiaste eerstejaars.
Het programma van het Weekend bestaat uit verschillende spellen en activiteiten allemaal gericht op integratie en plezier. Op de commissiemarkt, kunnen de eerstejaars kennismaken met de commissies en zich inschrijven als geïnteresseerden. Andere traditionele onderdelen zijn de “pubquiz”, het “groenesokkenspel” en het fantastische themafeest. Iedere WeekendCie kan het Moleculair Weekend naar eigen inzicht plannen en naar hun thema vormen.
Every year there’s a Molecular Weekend held during a weekend of the first period. Here the first-years can get to know the association, her members and her committees. The theme of the Molecular Weekend is traditionally announced during the AID study-day. The weekend is organised by the Weekendcie. The Weekendcie is usually exchanged for an entirely new committee consisting of enthousiastic first-years in the second period.
The programme of the Weekend consists of several games and other activities all aimed at integrating and having fun. During the committee-market the first-years can get to know the various committees and register their interest in joining one or more. Other traditional components are the “pubquiz” and the “green socks game” and the amazing themeparty. Each Weekendcie is free to plan their Molecular Weekend to their own ideals and to shape it to their particular theme.
