De TaartCie bakt met veel enthousiasme taart (en andere baksels) voor M.S.V. Alchimica. Wij zorgen eenmaal per periode voor een taartlunch en daarnaast worden er af en toe grotere activiteiten georganiseerd in samenwerking met andere commissies. Een terugkerende activiteit is pi(e)-dag rond 14 maart, waar het bestaan van de wiskundige constante π wordt gevierd.
De baksels worden vaak aan een interessant thema gelinkt; van feestelijk fuchsia flamingofundament tot post-Pasen patisserie. Hier worden dan creaties als appeltaart met custard, stroopwafeltaart of nutella-cheesecake gemaakt en gegeten.
The Taartcie (Cake Comittee) bakes cakes (and other baked goods) for M.S.V. Alchimica with unquenchable enthusiasm. They organise a cake-lunch once per period and also organise larger activities in cooperation with other committees once in a while. A recurring activity is pi(e)-day around 14 March, when the existenc of the mathematical constant π is celebrated.
The bakewares are usually linked to a theme of interest; from festive fuschia flamingo fundament to post Pascha patisserie. Creations like apple pie with custard, stroopwafel pie or nutella-cheesecake are consumed at these alliterative events.
