De ArabidopCie is de nieuwste commissie van M.S.V Alchimica en organiseert allerlei activiteiten die betrekking hebben met planten. De naam vindt zijn oorsprong dan natuurlijk ook in een plant: de Arabidopsis thaliana. Dit modelorganisme komt ontzettend vaak terug in de studie en is dus bij uitstek interessant voor moleculairen. Dit geeft dus weer dat deze commissie alles wat met planten te maken heeft doet. Zo worden er leuke activiteiten georganiseerd zoals een stekjesmarkt of onze jaarlijkse pompoensnij-activiteit. Verder worden de planten in Ad Hok verzorgd door de ArabidopCie.
The ArabidopCie is the newest committee of M.S.V. Alchimica and organizes activities that are related to plants. The name comes form a plant: the Arabidopsis thaliana. The model organism is used often in studies and is thus of interest for Molecular life scientists. Since this committee has to do all about plants, fun activities with plants are organized, such as a plant cutting market or our yearly pumpkin carving activity. Moreover, the plants in Ad Hok are taken care of by the ArabidopCie.
